Sometimes life gets comfortable, and we like that. We like knowing what to expect, and the idea of new things can seem daunting, even scary. But when new things come, when bad news is heard, when things are shaken, it's trust in God that can see us through.
Steven Covey wrote, "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing." It’s a great expression, it talks about the importance of keeping focused on those things that are most important. The question is, What is the main thing?
This week's text takes us to the Great Commission, some of Jesus' last words to His disciples. We'll see what this text means to us as His followers today.
