Today is Palm Sunday. We remember the triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the palm branches waving in the air, the cloaks laid out on the road, the donkey for Jesus to ride on - all things that gave Jesus great honor. The cheering was fit for a king - for the king of kings. Yet we know that at the end of the week, the cheering is replaced with chants to crucify him. Why? What happened? Why did the cheering stop?

Today is the second Sunday in Lent, and this week we are continuing our series titled Just As He Promised. Today's message is titled Keeping the Covenant, and we'll be looking to see what He promised to Abraham and Sarah. We're looking at the covenant to see what we can learn about God's promises.

It's the day we remember Jesus on the mountaintop, meeting with Elijah and Moses. What did that day mean for Jesus? How about the disciples who were with Him? How about us today as we look back?
This week we see that God called us to share our faith, that calling creates an obligation, and fulfilling that obligation provides a reward for those who are faithful in that calling.
