Thank you for your interest in getting involved at Waverly First Baptist Church. We grow closer as a community wen we share the gifts we have been given with each other. WFBC has many opportunities to get involved.
Ushers
Ushers are our first impression as a visitor enters our church. They work hard to make sure that every visitor feels welcome from the parking lot all the way through service.
Dig In
Dig In is our children's ministry for kid's from Kindergarten to 6th grade. They meet at two times, both during the service on Sunday's (coming out after the music) and on Wednesday's at 6:30 pm. A combination of video stories from other kids and real bible study makes this club a fun way to learn about their faith.
Bible Study
We believe that spiritual grown flows out of two basic commitments: a commitment to God and the Bible, and a commitment to significant Christian relationships. Both are found in Bible Study. Bible Studies are held on Tuesdays from October to June, taking a break during the summer months. They meet at 10:30 am and 7:00 pm.
Men's Fellowship
Men are welcome to join us for breakfast on the first and third Saturdays of the month for a time of fellowship, food, and prayer. These are held at a local restaurant.
