This Sunday is Palm Sunday, the day we remember Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We remember the colt, the palm branches, the shouts of hosanna. But have you ever really thought about why He went?
This is the final week in our current series, and we'll be looking at how Jesus is the Better Jonah. We'll see that Jesus is the better and truer Jonah, because while Jonah faced the storm for his own disobedience, Jesus took on the wrath of the storm on the behalf of others.
In the book of Genesis, we see the story of Abraham and Sarah. Abraham was 100, Sarah was 90, when God gave them a son named Isaac. But then, God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son. What parallels can we draw between Isaac and Jesus? That's our topic for this week.
